Blocked Domains

The list contains all domains that are currently administratively excluded from the .cz zone, so it is not a historical statistic. Most of the domains currently listed are (depending on the reason for exclusion) subsequently either cancelled or re-included in the zone and are no longer listed.The association may remove a domain from the .cz zone in the following cases:

• Based on an unsuccessful check of the accuracy of the data of the domain holder, or an unsuccessful request to provide a representative of the holder in a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area (EU/EEA) according to Articles 12.5. and 12.6. of the Registration Rules. Deletion for this reason is the most common case and occurs when the domain holder does not respond to the association's calls to supplement, correct or provide relevant and truthful data. After the holder repeatedly fails to respond to these calls, the domain is (as the last step before cancellation) removed from the zone for at least 30 days and then cancelled.
• Based on the decision of the authorities involved in criminal proceedings
  This is mainly a decision of the Police of the Czech Republic according to legal regulations.
• Court/Regional Court Decisions
  These are decisions issued by general courts, specifically interim measures, or by the Court of Arbitration (in matters of domain name disputes).
• According to Article 17 of the Registration Rules
  Decisions issued directly by the association in cases where, from the point of view of CZ.NIC, there is a violation of national or international computer security. In addition to the currently discussed disinformation websites, these typically include domain names used for phishing attacks, domain names associated with the operation of botnets, etc. These domain names are always removed for 1 month, after which the necessity of their removal is reassessed and the domains are either restored to operation or removed for another month.
• Decisions of other public authorities
  These are decisions issued by other public authorities - e.g. the Customs Administration.
